We were honoured to showcase our Autumn/Winter 2019 collection at Arise Fashion Week in Lagos alongside other top African designers.
The show was hosted by Naomi Campbell who we had the pleasure of meeting when a U.Mi-1 team member lost the keys to the hotel room.
Can you imagine it? On the floor rummaging through the bag when the next door opened and there she stood. “Hello!” she said and proceeded to ask her assistant who had just left the room for a light. Sweet!

The show was a blast. Being in Lagos for one of Africa’s most premier fashion shows has been a great opportunity for our fashion brand. The U.Mi-1 collection Hausas has received great comments from celebrities and insiders.
We are always glad to take part in events like AFW. Introducing our highly curated style to the menswear fashion world is what we are looking for.
Participating in the fashion event with over 50 designers and catching everyone’s eye attention make us proud. Stay tuned for our next fashion show.
